The permit system is learnable. We've already learned it.
CLC helps small commercial operators navigate permits, risk documentation, insurance requirements and authority pathways for paid activities on public land across Australia and New Zealand.
Start small. Build only what you need.
All custom service work starts with a Permit Pathway Audit — this is how CLC prices accurately and how you avoid paying for work that doesn't match your situation. Indicative pricing shown; all engagements scoped and confirmed in writing before work commences.
Permit Pathway Audit — AU$395
45–60 minutes. You leave with a jurisdiction and authority map, likely permit pathway, document requirements, key risk gaps, timing considerations, and a written next-step summary. The $395 is credited toward any Tier 2, 3, or 4 engagement if you proceed within 14 days.

All Tier 2–4 engagements are scoped to: one jurisdiction · one authority · one applicant/entity · one application. Additional jurisdictions or authorities are quoted as add-ons. Site maps, insurer liaison, legal review, audits, and urgent turnarounds are priced separately. Any major rescope after commencement requires a new quote. Extra jurisdictions and authorities are available as add-ons — ask at scoping.
Compliance guidance, not legal advice
CLC operates as a documentation and process guidance service. We prepare permit applications, safety plans, and compliance documents based on direct experience navigating the same systems our clients face. We are not lawyers and we do not provide legal advice. We do not guarantee permit approval — no one can, because approval decisions rest with the relevant authority. What we can guarantee is that your application will be as thorough and correctly structured as experience can make it. If your situation requires legal counsel, we'll tell you.
Every layer of the compliance stack.
Permit and licence applications
CAPs, NBT licences, DOC concession preparation, national park operator permits, council commercial activity permits and related approval pathways. We work from real application experience, authority feedback and documented requirements.
Safety Management Systems
ROSA audits, ISO 45001-aligned safety plans, drug and alcohol policies, emergency procedures, incident response. Built to satisfy external auditors, not just internal checklists.
Risk assessment documentation
Site-specific risk assessments, activity hazard registers, participant briefing documentation. Required for most national park and council permits — and required to be defensible.
Insurance and first aid compliance
Public liability requirements, first aid expectations, and insurance documentation for outdoor commercial operators. We help identify what authorities typically require and what evidence they usually ask to see.
Authority liaison and communication
How to communicate with park rangers, licensing officers, and council permit teams. The tone, the format, the information they want upfront — and how to handle follow-up requests.
Renewal and ongoing compliance
Permit renewals, amendment applications, condition monitoring, and regulatory change tracking. Compliance isn't a one-time project — we help you build a system that doesn't fall apart between renewals.
Where we have direct experience.
Every jurisdiction below represents a real permit held or active application in progress — not general knowledge. New states added as our own operations expand.
Start with the pathway.
Book a Permit Pathway Audit and Dylan will map the likely authority pathway, document requirements, timing risks and next steps for your activity before you commit to a full application build.
