Meet the team.
CLC workshops are led by a small group of working landscape photographers — people who shoot the locations we teach in, explain the decisions behind the shot, and run the field with calm, practical coaching.
Owned and operated by Dylan Knight Photography. Each workshop page lists the instructor team and group limits for that location.
Instructors

Every CLC instructor brings deep location knowledge, real teaching experience, and a professional standard that carries through from planning to the final edit.
Founder + Lead Instructor
Dylan Knight
Dylan Knight is a Sunshine Coast–based photographer specialising in landscape, seascape, and astrophotography, and the founder of Chasing Light Collective. Now in his 10th year behind the camera, Dylan has led small-group workshops for seven years across Australia and New Zealand. Time living in Utah and extensive work through the American Southwest shaped a style built around strong shapes, texture, and frame-filling compositions. Dylan is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP, PPAQ) with award recognition across multiple international competitions, a Nikon School Australia lecturer, and an authorised reseller for NiSi Filters and Leofoto tripods.
Co-Instructor · Western Australia + Tasmania
Nathan Dobbie
Nathan Dobbie is an Australian landscape photographer behind Nature By Nathan, focused on sharing wild places from fresh perspectives — including lesser-known locations and creative angles from familiar destinations. Raised in the Perth Hills, his early connection to nature evolved into a deep obsession with photographing it, with landscape work expanding into regular 4WD travel across Australia. Now based in Tasmania, Nathan has taught photography for eight years through workshops ranging from short sessions to immersive multi-day experiences, and has collaborated on workshops with Nikon Australia and NiSi Filters.
Co-Instructor · American Southwest
Joshua Snow
Joshua Snow is a Moab-based fine art landscape and astrophotographer who traded an engineering career for a life on the road after a four-day Utah trip changed everything. Over the last decade he's built one of the most respected workshop operations in the American Southwest, leading immersive overland and backcountry experiences across Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. His imagery earned him 2nd Place at the International Landscape Photographer of the Year 2020, and his audience of 87k on Instagram reflects a rare combination of world-class work and genuine teaching credibility. A NiSi Optics USA and Really Right Stuff ambassador, Josh brings the kind of deep location knowledge that only comes from a decade of living, scouting, and shooting the terrain we teach in together.
Guest instructors may be added for specific workshops. Each workshop page lists the instructor team and group limits for that location.
